Jun 21, 2021 · As I wrote, in the Steam version of "Homm III HD" it works flawlessly. Both my friend and I log in to Steam, start the game, open the "Multiplayer" menu, select "Online", and we can "Host", or "Join" to each other's game. So no external app, no UBI server, etc. needed. Just the game clients. Easy and straightforward solution.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit, all the necessary ports are open and all the exceptions rules were already done for Windows firewall.

Antaniserse: Press F4 to switch to windowed mode, and you should find a menu with some (fixed) resolutions. Or, even better, try the HD fan-made patch, which works pretty well with the GOG version.
